Delray Beach CRA to Renovate Warehouse for Are-related Businesses

South Florida Business Journal – The Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency wants a general contractor to help it convert a warehouse just north of downtown into a workspace and gallery for artists and related businesses.

The city’ planning and appearance board approved the site plan on May 27 for what’s been preliminarily called the Art Warehouse and Art Cube. An adaptive reuse of the 18,013-square-foot facility is planned that would include interior renovations, brick pavers, exhibition space, a classroom and a food area.

“As Delray Beach has progressed it’s become an arts and culture destination and we’ve developed programs to enhance the arts,” Delray Beach CRA Director Jeff Costello said.
