Free Northwest Jazz Fest

This year’s annual Heart & Soul Fest comes as the city has purchased the Prohibition-era Sunset Lounge as a focal point for reviving West Palm’s historic Northwest neighborhood. The free jazz festival takes place Saturday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Rosemary Avenue and Eighth Street, across from the Sunset.

The headliner, Pieces of a Dream, will bring contemporary jazz sounds from Philadelphia. Also performing will be N2 Nation, a South Florida band that celebrates the magic of Motown.
