Palm Bay Planners Studying Bayfront Village Concept

Bayfront Village exists on the City Hall drawing board as a bustling, mixed-use mini-community. Palm Bay’s first European settlers built homes at the mouth of Turkey Creek. Today, the harborfront features Castaway Point Park, single-family houses and boating-related businesses.

Wednesday, Redevelopment Management Associates personnel collected opinions on the future of Bayfront Village during a 10-hour open house. The Pompano Beach firm will craft a market analysis and economic development strategy by June 1, said Kevin Crowder, RMA’s director of economic development.
