Revelopment Management Associates – RMA recently opened a new Downtown Miami office, which includes the company’s Urban Design Studio, in order to more effectively assist our clients in Miami-Dade County. Located in the historic Ingraham building, this office is the third location for RMA, providing the redevelopment experts with a tri-county presence.
“Our team has had a strong influence on redevelopment in Miami-Dade County,” said Kim Briesemeister, RMA Co-Founder and Principal. “Establishing our urban design studio here exemplifies our commitment to this community, while providing our team with a dynamic location to serve our clients across the state.”
“We are thrilled to unite our urban design specialists under one roof,” said Natasha Alfonso-Ahmed, RMA’s Director of Urban Design & Planning. “This studio is where the master plans for the different cities are created and the vision is realized.”
Being located in one of Downtown Miami’s most fabled buildings creates a special significance for the RMA team. “We love the fact that this building has such a history,” said Alfonso-Ahmed. “It was built in the 1920’s and was renovated in 1990, ushering in the Downtown Miami renaissance.”
The building was designed by the architectural firm of Shultze & Weaver, who designed New York’s famed Waldorf-Astoria and was named after Henry Flagler’s chief engineer, J.E. Ingraham. Often described as one of the most elegant buildings in Downtown Miami, the Ingraham is an inspired choice for the RMA team.
“This is truly an ideal location for our urban design studio,” said RMA Co-Founder and Principal Christopher Brown. “From this office, our design team will be ushering in the renaissance of many communities across the state. With this addition, we are honored to now serve our clients from offices in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.”
